Help! Ovulation twice this month?

Hi! Currently cycle day 37- last period was April 14th, took an ovulation test April 30th & it was positive, now my oura ring BBT confirmed ovulation May 15th cycle day 30. We are TTC & tried also on the 14th & 15th. Clear blue early yesterday BFN and I know these are typically accurate. My nipples are sore no cramping, BBT is up yesterday & today. No AF still, anyone had this happen?

Your body tried to ovulate when you had a positive ovulation test but didn’t so you ovulated later. It’s impossible to ovulate twice on different days in the same cycles.

Hi you can actually ovulate twice in a month its called hyperovulation. So i wouldnt rule it out.

@Boymom9 hyperovulation is releasing multiple eggs on one day, it’s impossible to ovulate on different days.

“Ovulation can only occur at one point in your menstrual cycle. For example, you can't ovulate one day and then a few days later or a week later, ovulate again. But it is possible for more than one egg to be released at the one time you ovulate. If two or more eggs are released, this is known as multiple ovulation.”
