Clearblue OPK confusion

Hi, I’m TTC using IUI as a solo mum. I’ve been testing for ovulation using clear blue advanced digital. Because of taking letrozole I’ve been testing from day 8 - got high on day 8,9,10,11,12. Then yesterday got a peak on day 12 PM. Tested again this morning using a new holder and it’s showing as low?! Has this happened to anyone else? I’m worried I’ve missed my chance to have IUI this month.

New holders always show a blank circle when you first use it ☺️ once you get your peak, you’re not supposed to test anymore for that cycle x

Hope you don’t mind me chiming in here but I wouldn’t bother with ClearBlue ovulation tests, I feel like they’re just an expensive gimmick. Used them in the past (been TTC for years so I’ve tried a few different ones) and I found them confusing too. Turns out they do the exact same thing as the cheap sticks but make it unnecessarily complicated by putting a little computer in between you and the actual test stick (which you can read with your own eyes when you take it out of the holder). I much prefer the Easy@home ones - they’re cheap and reliable and you can buy in bulk off Amazon (helpful if you want to go nuts and test more than once a day to pinpoint your LH surge). You can also track on Premom app which has a photo taking feature that snaps it quickly and reads and records the result.

of course if you’re happy with clearblue feel free to ignore me 😬😘
