Line progression? Anxious after miscarriage

Hi friends 💛

I miscarried on 20th April, passed everything naturally and got a negative test not long on after. We started trying again by the end of April because we felt ready. Over the past week or so I've been having those pulls or 'twinges' in my lower left and right side now and again. I don't know would be far too early and if it's just my brain trying to convince me because we want this rainbow baby so bad but... I've been testing like a crazy women.

Over the past few days I noticed a very faint line (you REALLY have to look, very very faint) and have been testing every morning with different tests on my first wee in the morning to see if I can see the line darkening or, if for some reason it was left over HCG (even though I had a negative test already after the MC) and it was just lightening. Digital still says not pregnant but I know they're not as sensitive. FRERs have a faint line that seems darker today compared to yesterday, but I'm not sure if my eyes are deceiving me - thoughts please??

Also getting faint line on clearblue ultra early. I'm sure there wouldn't be much change in 24 hours that would show in tests but I do think maybe the tests are getting darker? Am I just trying to convince myself?

Such a hard journey to be on 😭

This is the clear blue... SO faint that the camera doesn't even really pick it up but I promise I can see something there in real life. Am I best off sticking to the FRERs and the one individual brand of tests or am I better trying a few different ones to compare? The lines on the First response ones seem to be more prominent than any others I've used

Sorry but I cannot see any lines. Try again in another 3-4 days.

What DPO are you?

I had a miscarriage 30th April and currently TTC, and my only advice would be to put the tests away until AF is due. Easier said than done as last month I must have taken about 25 tests. I feel like the constant testing does more harm than good as you are constantly worried and nothing you do will change the outcome - good or bad!

Saying that, I can see lines on those tests.

I would use the ultra early CB digital (the one with a light on top) as that’s the most sensitive (I think 10miu hcg).

I was using easy@home ones last month which sort of told me something wasn’t right (lines just stayed the same colour). But this time around, I’m going to do a digital weeks one when AF is due, if it’s positive, do another one a week later and leave it at that.
the constant testing was consuming me and stressing me out more!

hope that helps and good luck! Please keep us all updated x

I don't see anything on the tests either sorry OP. Possibly an indent line on the second FRER. Wait a few days and test again

emmatcc1 · 12/05/2024 10:26

I see the lines, it looks like a good progression on the frer. Remember it’s only important how lines progress in 48h so try again tomorrow and see how it compares to yesterday’s test.

I can see very very faint lines - try and wait a few days (easier said than done I know) to see if the lines progress. In a similar position as miscarried on 29th April and TTC asap also. Hopefully we all get our rainbows 🌈🩷

ah, the same timeline as me 🌈! Not a good thing but know you aren’t alone! Also getting straight back into TTC (which has been hard knowing I had a positive and didn’t think I’d have to do it for another cycle!).

Sorry but I can’t see anything myself. I’d leave it a few days, ideally until you’ve missed you period, and test again. I only got BFPs the day my period was missed. And if it helps, my lines were the same in the pregnancy i lost, and current pregnancy, it’s really not an indication

PoppingTomorrow · 12/05/2024 18:28

Unless you have something specific you need to do as soon as you know you're pregnant (eg start or stop certain meds) stop testing until you've missed your period.

Do as much as you can to distract yourself. Clean the house from top to bottom, go out for dinner, go to the theatre, have sex for the fun of it, sleep.

Thanks for the advice everyone 💛 it's so flipping hard isn't it! I'm a total test freak, I won't even lie. Just so impatient and want to know. I appreciate the photos aren't picking up what I can see but both my partner and myself can definitely see a SUPER faint line so, I guess all I can do is wait! Gonna try and be a good and not test for a few days at least. Thanks ladies 🥰 love to all xx
