Hi, I'm new here so apologies if this is posted in the wrong place! I came off the pill (which I had no periods whilst on) mid Feb and had what I believe to be a withdrawal bleed at the end of April which lasted 4 days but I've had no period since. Last week I was feeling very nauseous and had mild cramping, took a test on the 4th but it was negative. I then started spotting yesterday which is brown/dark red in colour. Could this be implantation spotting or just my body trying to get back to normal?

Could be either. Sorry I know that’s not very helpful! Has the spotting continued today?

Impossible for anyone to say! Take a test to know for sure. Implantation bleeding isn't that common statistically.

Thanks both, I know it's a long shot. Yes, still slight spotting today too.

It’s annoying - I am in a similar position having come off the depo injection last year. Had my first proper period 2 weeks ago but had spotting for 2 days earlier this week. Could be ovulation, implantation, hormones still levelling out, stress - who knows! Trying not to over think it.

I was long off the pill when I conceived and had implantation bleeding but it was only a one time thing. It is patience that you have to have but it's not easy.
