Day 3 Bloods 💉

Hi all,

Just had my day 3 blood results back and they’re all listed as normal/within range, but a bit of googling (I couldn’t help myself) indicates that my FSH:LH ratio is off and my Oestrogen is a bit on the low side. Can anyone offer any thoughts?

FSH 3.8 iu/L
TSH 1.95 mIU/L
LH 7.1 iu/L
Prolactin 439 mIU/L
Oestradiol 92 pmol/L

TIA 🩷

Yes I think your oestrogen is a bit low (I recently had mine down and mine was too). I was told the range should be Follicular: 114 - 332.
I am not sure what to do about it though.. I’m upping my protein intake and taking maca to try and help

My oestrogen was also low on day 3, which is confusing as I have a fibroid and that's supposed to be a result of oestrogen dominance in the body.

You could ask for blood tests to rule out PCOS because of your higher LH.

Thank you @1woodpecker and @sirensong, really appreciate the responses 😊

I also don’t know what to do to increase oestrogen so will take a look at that. And will speak to GP about PCOS! I think next steps are referral to fertility unit so perhaps might be something I can discuss at that point. Luckily (well depends on how you view it as no one looks forward to these things) I did just have a transvaginal ultrasound and that all came back fine/no signs of PCOS.

Thanks again xx
