Hey! Trying for a baby and my ovulation tracker said I’m ovulating today so I did a test in the morning for the first time it was a blank circle I tried again in the afternoon and got a flashing face accuracy? We’ve been trying for 6m so hoping this is accurate anyone had a similar result on the same day?

My periods have been a little off and my ovulation tracker was suggesting I was ovulating earlier than Clear Blue test did. I am going by the clear blue test for ovulation as it actually picks up on the hormone changes in your body

Also with the clear blue test, the day you get a static face is allegedly your most fertile window / your LH surge - the flashing face is still a fertile day, but suggests you aren't ovulating just yet

@Bumblebee312 unless you test bang on your peak, the first test result is always a blank circle as everyone has different oestrogen levels and it establishes your baseline amount. A flashing face by the afternoon means it's risen since the first test, and will continue to rise until it's high enough to trigger your LH surge. Which will in turn then trigger ovulation. Keep testing - you should get a static smile in the next few days.

You don't need to wait for the static smile - your fertile days will usually still give you a conception chance (though some women have a lot of flashing days before their static).
