Positive test?

Hey I did a test a couple days ago (8 days before due period) and it came up a clear negative. I tested again yesterday (6 days before my due period) and I got this result. It looks positive to me but I’m hearing that many bad stories about clear blue and evap lines I don’t know whether to believe it? I have a digital ordered but I’d love to hear what you think? Thanks :)

It does look a bit grey so I'm leaning more towards evap line, especially considering you're still quite far away from even missing a period. Do you have any pink dye tests? I find them better for very early testing

Zooming in the line looks thin. I wouldn't say that's positive. Either get an early detection pink test or wait a few days and use a digital. 6 days before period is very early so it doesn't mean you're not pregnant. Just don't rely on that test.

Thanks for your feedback! It’s definitely very blue in real life but i won’t get my hopes up until i try a digital. This is also one of those 6 days ultra early tests. Thank you!x

For me it's not the blueness or lack of. Despite what people think, clear blue evaps/dye runs can often be very dark blue. It's the thinness of the line that makes me suspicious. Plus it's lighter towards the top. Sometimes the tests don't photograph well and it may look thicker to you in real life. Either way it's definitely best just to wait for a digital. Many people have had their hearts broken over those clear blue tests.
