Af arrived again…

Hello I’m cd2. We’re giving conceive plus a go this month, hopefully it does the magic trick. Due to ovulate next week, anyone similar?

Hi @emmatcc1, I had a D&C at 10 weeks in March. Currently on cd3 of my first cycle since, so have been waiting 6 weeks for Aunt Flo to arrive. I'm still testing faintly positive on hcg tests, so I have no idea when I'll ovulate, but I'm hoping sometime next week too.

I don't know if we will actively try this month, it was a traumatic end to the last pregnancy. We've decided to relax and have fun. If it happens, it happens. We usually do SMEP, and it worked twice for us, but we're not doing it this time. I'll do ovulation tests from cd 10 and if I catch a positive, we'll have a go. If not, we'll leave it up to chance.

Happy to stick around. It's always nice to have someone with roughly the same dates to talk to.

So sorry for your loss, I also had a MMC and naturally passed it at 10weeks in February. We kind of tried straight away but I was terrified of getting pregnant again. Next two cycles I was more relaxed but now I’m getting impatient and desperate to be pregnant again.

I'm so sorry for your loss too, we were terrified too. It's such a strange and horrible set of circumstances when you want it so much, but now you're also afraid of it. I convinced myself there was something wrong from the start and I'm sure that didn't help in the end. Even though it ended in a MMC, trying to stay disconnected didn't help, so it was a sad learning curve.

I understand about really wanting to be pregnant again. I really want to try again, but actually dread being pregnant again. Neither of my pregnancies have ended well and waiting to find out the outcome was awful. Pregnancy is a lot of waiting by nature though, so not much choice if you want the end goal.
