DTD after peak?

Hi everyone,

im really frustrated. I got my peak ovulation test yesterday morning, my husband was ‘too tired’ yesterday to DTD and now I’m worried we’ve missed our window? If we DTD today would we still have a chance?

The peak opk indicates you will ovulate within the next 24-36 ish hours and then the day of ovulation you still have a small chance.

Yes you have a chance. You are probably ovulating some time today and the egg lives around 12-24 hours, though the numbers thrown around are always averages.

I’m in exactly the same boat! I didn’t do opks every day but I tested on cd14 and there was a medium line, then midnight there was a strong peak, but only managed to dtd the next night around 9pm on cd15. Opk that morning there was still a line but it was lighter. Tying myself in knots not knowing if it was too late

Definitely go for it today! I am 18 weeks now, after DTD only the day after peak

@Peonies12 do you mind me asking how long after the peak? And did you still have o symptoms/ewcm at the time you dtd?

It's worth a go for sure. But yeah, lower chance than yesterday.
