Cycle changes after HyCosy (for the better!)

Hi all!

Just wanted to share my experience of having a HyCosy (foam version). Had the procedure back in January, after almost a year of TTC.

I have previously been diagnosed with PCOS and my periods used to be all over the place, between 35-50 days which made it really hard to predict ovulation etc. Since the HyCosy my last four periods have been 28-31 days long and on cycle post procedure I was able to pinpoint ovulation for the first time, and work out that my luteal phase is 12 days and has been 12 days for three periods. I've also identified a really noticeable ovulation symptoms (nausea the day before EWCM), which I've just had! And have confirmed ovulation with BBT and OPKs for last three cycles, which I never managed to do last year.

So basically just posting in praise of the HyCosy which I'm convinced has woken up my ovaries somehow! Still not pregnant but feeling more hopeful and starting to think the PCOS diagnosis might not have been quite true. And shout out to ladies with irregular cycles because it really does make this whole TTC much harder! Fingers crossed for TTC 2024

X

Hey @CatmumTTC thanks for sharing and glad it’s been beneficial for you! Please can I ask if you had the procedure on the nhs or went private? Thanks x

@Sage33 just come across this thread, I paid to go private after being referred by my fertility dr as the wait was 6 months on the nhs x
