Secondary Infertility help?

TW: miscarriage, living child.

Hello,
For those who have had secondary infertility after having babies, how long did it take for you to get pregnant again?
It's been two years trying for us. We had just started exploring our fertility last year, my bloods were all good and partners sperm "perfectly normal", we needed his sperm analysed before going ahead with further tests for me. I fell pregnant a few weeks after his results, in October and miscarried that baby is January. I went back to the Dr's in January to ask about continuing the fertility exploring, such as scans or other tests to check all is well and he said to me "since sperm has met egg, we don't need to do anything, you just need to keep trying". This was devastating to hear after months of trying and a miscarriage. I'v just got my period today, we were away for 10 days in greece, over my fertile window and lapping up the sun and food and loaaaads of s*x, super relaxed and still not caught. I don't know where to go from here.

It took us 22 months, one round of IVF and three miscarriages before I randomly became pregnant with this baby.

We paid for private blood tests to check for clotting disorders etc and it seems I was severely deficient in vitamin D which likely played some part in it. The cycle I got pregnant with this one I also took progesterone (left over from my miscarriages) from 3dpo as per a study I was reading. I was then on it until about 28 weeks and aspirin until 36 weeks just in case.
