Ovulation and short luteal phase

Hello so I've got my peak today, first time doing this but concerned I've ovulated so late. I had a 9 day period this month - had been quite unwell so maybe had something to do with it. But my cycles range from 21-28. Averaging 24 days but last cycle was 28 days so not too worried if it was another 28 day cycle this month and was a 10 day luteal phase. Anyone else had later ovulation with shorter cycles?

Hi! When I was having tablets to force ovulation (my periods were coming 7 days after ovulation) the drs prescribed progesterone to delay my period - if after 14 days I was pregnant, I had to take them for 3 months. Otherwise I stopped and started again.. might be worth having a chat to the dr if you keep having a short luteal phase x

This is first time doing ovulation tests. I have been pregnant before however ended in a chemical pregnancy. I was wondering if it was related as far as you're aware? maybe I was just unlucky as they're so common but short luteal phases I heard is implantation unlikely being successful which obviously I implanted, the pregnancy just didn't progress. Do you know if miscarriages are more likely are related? that's what I'm worried about. X

Hi OP, I used to have a consistently 29-30 day cycle and ovulating on day 19-20 so around a 10 day luteal phase. I still have a 10 day luteal phase but irregular periods now. But I have had pregnancies with that luteal phase. It does mean it can take longer to get pregnant but it can definitely still happen.
I would however question your app here, it says your peak is at 0.57 but for it to be peak, it needs to be over 1 (i.e. the test line as dark or darker than control line) and I wouldn't say yours are. It looks like you're taking the photo too early as the tests are still pink, they aren't fully developed so not giving an accurate reading.

1am today I had a peak of 0.89 and now I've taken one since and it's dramatically dropped so I think that was my peak x
