Hoping some of you lovely ladies might be able to shed some light and let me know your experiences with anything like this!
We had our 1st DC 16 months ago. We weren't actively trying (OPK's, temps and charts etc. all added stress for me and i went from "lets have a baby" to a completely over the top mess, which is such a shame because it would be lovely to see more accurately than relying on ovulation pain and CM) anyway, she popped up as a bfp at what I thought was 10dpo, and judging by the dates it was pretty accurate. I only tested then because of the cramps, CM and pure exhaustion. It took 8 months to conceive, which was long but in the scheme of things we were lucky.
We have been careful up until now but think it's time we start being less careful because time is ticking, I'm in my mid 30's and would like to complete our family before I hit 40.
So, my last AF was 02/04 and I thought I ovulated about a week ago, pains, CM, generally wanting to jump DF as soon as he walks through the door, the usual really! But the last 2 days I've had pretty strong cramps, loads of EWCM, strong pain in both ovaries, so we DTD last night just incase this is ovulation and not a week ago. I ridiculously did a hpt yesterday morning and of course was a bfn but it felt so similar to 10dpo with my 1st I couldn't help myself!
Impossible to know without charting and temping etc. exactly where I'm at but just wondering if anyone else has had a weird second attempt at ovulation? I've read it's possible to attempt to ovulate a couple times in a month, but I'm not sure if I believe that or not! And that ovulating twice in a month is impossible? I feel like I need to go back to biology class and swat up on this!
Also, as lovely as a bfp would be this month I'm not holding out much hope, I think we missed it thinking its already happened. I would love to hear some of your experiences with this though, or if you are in the TWW feel free to join in!
