Pcos and trying to conceive

Hi all
i have been on my ttc journey for a little over a year now. I have a 3 year old who i conceived first time of trying and did not have any difficulty and in regard to pcos I actually was never diagnosed with pcos before. However after giving birth to him i wasn’t able to lose the weight and my hormones went all over the place and i started to gain weight , when i went to the doctors they did an ultrasound and said i have pcos. i have tried everything inositol and metformin as well as lots of supplements. I have now tried to loose weight as i can only get prescribed clomid if my bmi goes down. my periods have gone to normal ish before they were 40/45 days long cycles now they are 28. But still no luck on the TTC end. I also have 20 day cycles every other month which is odd.
does anyone know why this may be and how i can make them as regular as possible and how else i can aid ovulation as thats absent at the moment. I’m still actively trying to loose the weight but could use some advice

thank you
