Starting new exercise (cycling) in the TWW - is it beneficial ?

Hello,
I just wanted some advice. I am currently overweight and have been TTC for quite a while with no success so far. I wanted to take up cycling (just to work and back - about 6 miles each way) and can’t find any definitive information on whether this is safe to take up especially during the tww (I ovulated yesterday and am planning to start today)
I do need to lose weight so I’m leaning towards the benefits but after reading through some threads I’ve noticed a lot of people saying it’s harmful to take up any new form of exercise I think because the new exercise takes away energy that could be focussed on conception/implantation etc.

Does anyone have any further advice on whether this is a good idea to start now or maybe to wait to see if AF arrives and start then to give my body time to get used to the new exercise before Ovulation.
sorry if my question seems silly as I know I’m overweight and need to lose some pounds but the internet has got me conflicted

The general advice is when pregnant, not to start a new exercise regime. Cycling a few miles to/from work at a steady pace during the tww sounds like a great idea to me and it's a good way to get moving without putting lots of stress on your body. There's nothing you can do to force or stop implantation so please don't worry about that x

Thank you @moosey89 I decided to cycle to work and I think the benefits will surely outweigh any possible negatives
