LH peak/temp drop

Helloo lovely Mumsnetters

I'm tracking my second cycle after (with a bit of a heavy heart) stopping breastfeeding, and hoping to conceive no 2. I had no periods breastfeeding, so the last cycle was my first ovulation and first period in 2.5years. Luteal phase was only 9 days but apparently that's normal as things get back to, well, normal.

Last cycle, I had a positive Clearblue on the Sat, OPK was negative, then they both stayed negatvie until postive on Clearblue AND OPK on Mon. LH on the OPK rose very quickly over the course of one day, temp went up a bit the next, then up a lot more the next, so ovulation day was pretty obvious.

On the cycle we conceived my DD (first cycle trying/testing, 3 years ago!), I had a postive on a Clearblue/negative on OPK, then about 4 days later, postive on both Clearblue and OPK, and clear temp rise the day after.

This month, my LH levels have been much higher since I started testing. They seem to have peaked yesterday but remain positive (1.4). I was expecting a temp rise today, but instead it's gone right down.

I had some very light pink spotting yesterday evening and this AM.

I will add that the reason I checked it about 5am is because my daughter woke up and I went to settle her on her bed, where she's in a snuggly sleep suit and I am not, so I was actually cold. But I don't think this would account for such a difference. The night before, I slept v badly, so again perhaps why that was a bit high.

Not able to "baby dance" today, hence I'm so keen for answers!

Any ideas what is going on here? Am I ovulating today? Did I already ovulate? Am I likely to ovulate today? Everything I read days ovulation generally happens 24-36hrs after surge and 8-20 after peak which would imply that ovulation either has taken place or, if I was on the vert upper end of that, is imminent.

Aware the answer is probably "wait and see temp tomorrow", but anxious about not being able to do any baby dancing today...
