endometrial or uterine polyp issues?

I've been an observer of this group, and it has been great. I'm 42, trying to conceive for my first baby. I wondered if anyone in this group had an endometrial or uterine polyp removed. And if so, how did it go? Any success stories of conceiving naturally once it was removed? And how soon did you get your period or ovulate to start trying again? This is the first time a polyp has been discovered, which is the reason for some miscarriages. Any insight about this topic is much appreciated.

Hi @adrig7 Don’t have much insight, but just wanted to say that I’m having my polyp removed tomorrow! It’s a decent size and my fertility doctor is confident that it’s the reason I’m struggling to get pregnant again after my miscarriage.

I can let you know how I get on, if you like. Will be glad to see the back of the thing 😂

How did it go? Hope it went well. I was told to rest for like five days. A little bleeding the first week.

Slightly different but I had a fibroid where a polyp would be. I had it removed and literally got pregnant the first month trying! I was 36 at the time.

Hello! I have had recurrent miscarriage/ chemical pregnancies & after chasing up they have scanned & are removing the polyp in a couple of weeks. Is it painful? And any success stories of pregnancy after it?

Hey all, wondering if you had any updates? I had a scan yesterday at a fertility clinic and they found a polyp. I'm waiting to see the consultant on Fri but wondering about your experiences? I had a miscarriage in June so wondering if this contributed
