I'm 4 days late for my period and have been having white discharge and feeling sick. DH and I have been TTC for a few months now so I did a (cheap Tesco) pregnancy test this morning which looks negative, but I can also see a faint horizontal line in the other box (on the left of the top box in the pic). According to the instructions a positive result would show a vertical line.

Could the horizontal line mean anything?

I would test again tomorrow, unfortunately this test looks negative

I tested using one of these tests this morning and got a horizontal line too. It was a BFN, I think it's quite common in those tests.
It gets your hopes up though.
