Am still breastfeeding dd2 (almost 1) and no periods yet. Last night I had some brown tinged mucus, then today slight spotting, gone by bedtime. Also feeling a little crampy and having major mood swings and generally quite hormonal. Is this af returning? If so what should I expect- is that it done for this month or should I be keeping a few tampons handy if I'm out?

First time after bf is different for everyone, as AF is different for everyone. Can't honestly remember what it was like for me and I've BF 2DDs. Would say to keep tampons handy but have you considered that you might be pg?

Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge will be over soon.
