More ovulation questions…

I went for an SIS / Hycosy scan last week and while at it they said I was going to ovulate in the next couple of days. I was there on CD9. This is very early for me so I was a little surprised. My temp spiked on CD11 and my opk lines were pretty dark so assumed it happened.

However since then my temps have dropped lower than they would usually be after ovulation. Now on CD14 but next to no line on OPK.

So confused…does it look like it has happened? Also had scarily strong pains on the side they said I was going to ovulate on at the time.

Any advice is appreciated 😊

Yes I'd def say you've ovulated. The only bit of data that doesn't fit is the temp for CD 13 so that's the outlier.

Thanks for replying. This morning my temp was 36.29 so again that’s really low for after ovulation. It’s just never straightforward… 10 months ttc and there’s something different each month it seems!

It is a minefield 😭 that does seem like a fast drop...what day do you usually get your period?

I think it’s due around Monday 29th. It was a couple of days late the last time so throws it a little. Usually very regular tho

Your luteal phase is always the same length, so as you've been trying for a few cycles can you count back from your other periods and see if it fits? The first part of your cycle can vary, but second half should always be the same. Might give you another clue 😅

My period usually falls on day 28 so will be interesting to see if it’s early this month. I’m never early, a day or 2 late sometimes but never early!

So I think I’m about 7/8 dpo, breasts have been very very tender last few days and had spotting today which I’ve never had before…is this a good sign? Temps still a bit all over the place though…

Could be something, could be nothing - it's infuriating when there's so much symptom overlap isn't it!
