Hi i have today had a hycosy which i found more painful than i thought it would be however the fluid went through the right tube fine consultant said this was ‘perfect’ however my concern is my left tube I had more intense pain which the consultant stated there may be blocked/damaged left tube however couldn’t see this properly on the scan and that maybe my tubes did have a spasm. Consultant stated they are optimistic I can still naturally conceive and continue to try for another three months then either consider a laparoscopy to explore left tube further or skip this and go for an Ivf referral as we have been trying for around 17 months!! I guess my question is has anyone had similar outcome from hycosy and gone on to conceive ( I am due to ovulate within next 12/24 hours confirmed today) with one tube confirmed fine and one that potentially is blocked/ damaged… of course this news was not what I wanted to hear however holding onto hope it can still happen naturally and I am grateful I do have one working tube confirmed

Hi hun. I had hycosy and IUI and it worked for us. While IVF is failed. My tubes were clean tho but we been trying naturally for 2.5 years and nothing. IUI worked first time
