Hello! Looking for some advice as I try for baby #2!

My 3 year old was conceived 2 cycles after I came off the pill, and each cycle was loooong. Like 7 weeks long. So I‘ve no idea when I ovulated, would it have been 5 weeks into the cycle?

After my boy was born I had a year on the Depo shot for contraception, and then a year on no birth control. During that year my cycles were once again 7 weeks long. Although they were long they were still considered regular as I could predict when they were coming.

I have been on the pill for over a year as I was concerned about my cycle alongside other symptoms including acne, and blood tests indicated possible diagnosis of PCOS but GP just popped me on the pill to regulate hormones again as I had no pain in ovaries.

Husband and I are now actively trying for baby #2 and I am in my first cycle off the pill. I am on day 13 of my cycle and I have cramping in my left side. Picked up some ClearBlue tests to see if it could possibly be a sign of ovulation and it was negative.

Can cramping occur days before ovulation? I’m keen to start tracking ovulation again to maximise chances of falling pregnant but if my cycles are 7 weeks long again, on which day would I ovulate?

Thanks for any advice! ❤️
