Weight gain while ttc

I'm currently doing slimming world. I've done it previously and have always done really well with it. I've been at target for over 3 years but recently gone off track. Starting over again and honestly don't understand how I'm not loosing weight. I'm putting weight on! I am ttc but am only 4dpo and in my 4th month ttc. Could it possibly be a pregnancy sign. It's the only thing I can think of.

I'm afraid weight gain is not a sign of pregnancy and especially not at 4dpo as that is too early for any symptoms.

Slimming world is often good for people for a short time but tons of people gain the weight back because it doesn't teach you about food properly, or help you with your relationship with food (there's a reason it's a successful business, because people have to keep going back time after time).

Whilst there's a lot of factors that may influence it, the way you lose weight is by being in a calorie deficit. I'd strongly recommend finding a nutritionist to talk to who can help you balance your diet (including what foods help support a healthy menstrual cycle).

No, not at 4 dpo. Your body doesn't even know its pregnant yet (if it is!). The embryo would still be bouncing around signalling it's there.

No definitely not a pregnancy sign at only 4dpo. Even at 4 weeks pregnant you wouldn’t be noticing weight gain.

The most likely explanation is that you’re eating more calories than you are using, or that the stress of ttc (if you are stressed about it) is making you gain/struggle to lose weight- there is quite a well known link between stress & weight gain so it could be that.
