So I started bleeding with a CP ON Saturday, only this bleeding has been much lighter than my last miscarriage and lighter than a normal period. Just wondering if this is normal? Dr said we could try again once bleeding had stopped but not sure if with it being lighter than even a normal.period I needed to wait longer?

Tia :)

Hi

So sorry to hear about your CP. I had one in feb at 5 weeks. My usual periods are quite light lasting around 3 days. My chemical bleed lasted 4. Was lighter than expected tbh but heavier than my usual and with clots.

I did a test about a week after to make sure it was negative, then started trying again.

The following month I will say my symptoms around ovulation were so much more noticeable. Not sure if it was due to a hormonal shift or what! I started using OPKs that month as thought I might be a few days out. I ovulated 2 days later than normal and AF that month was also 2 days later as a result. But my luteal phase remained the same length at 14 days.

Good luck and hope you’re ok. Mine really hit me hard x

Maybe do a preg test to make sure its negative first.

Caught me off guard ad I had a miscarriage in January and this time felt so different and more like my 1st pregnancy with my now DS but unfortunately it went negative extremely fast :(

No thank you! And thanks for the hop and positivity, just wasn't meant to be this month
Hoping for next month and not another miscarriage otherwise I'll be getting a referral. We have a DS so I'm hoping my chances of another healthy pregnancy is high 🤞🤞

I'd try as soon as I stopped bleeding if I were you.

UrsulaSings123 · 09/04/2024 22:34

No worries. Good luck for next month!

This was my plan but didn't know if it was "ok"
The Dr suggested a 6 month break but theres 0 evidence I could find to support that!

I had a CP at 5+3 and it was really, really light, I'd convinced myself it was implantation bleeding until I got a negative test a couple of days after.

My next period was really heavy with quite a few clots so I feel that that was everything clearing out but I'd had a negative test 4 weeks before so I don't know. I did get pregnant again the cycle after that and he's 17 months now :)

Hope everything goes well for your next cycle

I'm so sorry for your loss, I cannrelate to the hitting hard cos this has floored me. I had a miscarriage in January but in my gut I knew something wasn't right but this month I felt like everything was fine, it totally caught me off guard and I've struggled.
It's so weird the impact it has on our body isn't it! I think I'm going to strat trying again and just see what happens

Thanks for sharing your experience e💕
