Ovulation but regular periods

Hi!

A bit of a long one.

I had my son 9 months ago, I had missing periods so had to go on clomid to force ovulation! 3 months later I was pregnant :)

Since having my son, my periods have come back like clockwork, but I can't seem to catch my ovulation if there is one. Question is, how likely is it that I am simply not ovulating? Has anyone else been through this?

Any suggestions welcome! x /

Have you tried temping and/or doing OPKs?

Ldougal92 · 09/04/2024 14:24

Yes doing OPKs for about 2 weeks of my cycle but the highest I have recorded in 0.4 (been trying to catch ovulation for 3 months now!)

0.4 on Easy at Home or using a random brand?

Ldougal92 · 09/04/2024 14:27

Easy at home! I know they don't count anything high unless its .5 and above

Ah, was hoping you'd say random brand as I was using a random brand but reading it with the Premom app and my numbers were frigging awful and didn't correlate with the numbers I get for E@H.

How's the CM? Maybe you're just missing the peak but if EWCM is there...

@Ldougal92 I don’t really know anything about clomid, but you’re still quite newly postpartum so might it just be that you’re all over the place because of that? I know it’s not quite the same but I’m almost 11 months pp and have had one period; I’ve done OPKs every single day since it finished and got a few 0.4s and even a few 0.7s but then all of a sudden (on CD35!) I got a 1.65! I’d keep testing every day if you can just in case you’re getting a very quick overnight peak or similar.

It’s awful not knowing what’s going on, I hope you’re okay!

I was very discharged as expected - here is my premom - see if it helps! I have a call with the drs - wonder if they will do a day 21 test or whether they will need to refer me first!

Thank you for the kind message! I have had regular periods since being 3 months pp, very regular so I am not really sure!!

We are not actively trying, but at the same time if I am not ovulating will get the referal process sooner rather than later as it took so long last time!

Really hope I am just missing it - maybe doing daily for the whole cycle is the answer - will try that!
