I started a new test applicator at the start of testing on this cycle on CD12 I’m not CD17 and still getting a blank circle, 6 days of a blank circle!

Am I going crazy or has this happened to anyone else?

I have ovulated as late as CD23 so it is possible I’m just going to ovulate really late again but usually I have constant flashy smiles not a blank circle

Hiya! I’ve had 5 days of empty circles before, followed by 5 days of flashing smileys then static on CD19 (which was late for me as usually ovulate CD13/14). Maybe you’ll get a flashing smiley tomorrow!

It was such a random month and really threw me! I’m still TTC, but I’ve seen on other threads women who have ovulated unusually late for them and fallen pregnant that month. Made me feel better incase it were to happen again xx

Thank you @SWeal thats reassuring I’ve never seen so many blank circles! Fingers crossed there’s still time.

Sending you all the luck for your TTC journey. Have you been using the clearblue OPKs a while? I’ve been using them for about 9 months but still no luck!

@Roseberry22 I felt the same, the blank circles were driving me mad!

Thank you! I’ve been using them for about 4 months but had a break from them last month to see if they helped relieve some pressure - it didn’t lol and so i’m back to using them again this month! Will be starting on Saturday. I’ve been TTC 6 months this month. Good luck to you too xx

Me too. I am on day 13. Just did one today and it is a blank circle. Did you just start OPKs? Depending on how long your cycle is getting a blank circle is not unusual for Day 12. Some people like to test 2x daily, once in AM and once in PM.

I’ve been using them for 9 months but I used the same test reader for 8! This month I started the new test reader on the usual day I start to test so not sure what’s happening this cycle. Day 7 of a blank circle!! I used to always ovulate between CD16-18 but I do seem to get the odd long cycle, 2 months ago I ovulated CD23 but then last month I was back at my usual CD17

I have been doing some reading on this, and maybe because I am now older the cycle is shorter. I used to have 35-36 day cycles. Now they are 30 days+/-. I got a smiley face today and it's Day 14. Last cycle I got a smiley face Days 16-17.

It is also not exact science based on the research I have been following. Ovaries talk to brain which then signals the LH surge. Good luck with conception.
