10dpo for me and BFN. Not even a shadow. Feeling very down about it as we did everything ‘right’ this cycle.

if I was talking to someone else I would say a)10dpo is very early to call yourself out. Don’t get your hopes up but also don’t get too down. b) even if you do everything right and there is nothing wrong with your fertility, it’s still only a 1 in 3 chance every month. c) having said all this it’s OK to be sad. Let it ruin your morning, but not your day!

@CoolSummer89 I've found it's so much easier to be kind to others than yourself. It's hard watching people get their positives so early because it means we are hard on ourselves earlier than we probably should be but I get it. Theres still time and Im crossing my fingers for you

@CoolSummer89 there is still time, with my son (my first pregnancy and only surviving pregnancy!) I didn't get a positive test until 12dpo. Not a hint of a shadow or anything before that, and I am serial tester! With the 3 losses I tested positive quite early so there is no rhyme or reason to it! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

12 dpo and BFN this morning. Feel like AF is definitely on her way, been very teary this morning and had a go at my husband. However, it’s not totally undeserved as he has done F all around the house this week, so he was just asking for it being this lazy and useless at this time in my cycle.

Had a bit of creamy CM last week, thought this part of the cycle was meant to be dry/sticky. According to a fertility podcast creamy CM can be a sign of low progesterone levels. I’m not spotting and my temps remain a good level so I don’t think I have super low progesterone, but I did get a couple of low readings on my proov tests, so it’s something I will look into for next cycle.

Is anyone left on the April TTC thread? Or has everyone graduated to the May thread?

@CoolSummer89 sorry to hear about your BFN, sounds like you have a good plan in place though for next cycle
im still here for April, CD25 and planning to test on Thursday, when I will be 10-11dpo

Sorry your feeling a bit down @CoolSummer89 I'm still here! Anywhere from 12-5dpo (random cycles and no opk testing) so going to test Friday if AF no arrived before then!

We're not going to try next month because the due date would coincide with when DH is going to be best man at a wedding in Australia. I would really like to go too, so if I don't get pregnant in the next 4-5 months that will be the silver lining!

So I think I was just holding out a lot of hope. I have booked a fertility consultation for next week just to give us a bit of focus.

But all in all a break and a breather would probably do us both good.

I would like to join you all too I am also hoping for my Christmas baby this year. I am 15 DPO today if my calculation is right have very sore boobs, nausea, headache, cramping, vivid dreams and AF is due on 17 april. So far only BFN not even a slightest line but keeping my hopes high because your are not out until AF shows up.

Having things booked I’d really like to be able to drink for has been the key to not going crazy this month (and probably/potentially the key to many more months 🙈)

Well... I messed up. I should have been better at testing for ovulation (this is month 2 of letrozole), but I had company at my house all weekend and didn't want all my pee sticks out on display.

Last month, I ovulated CD 22, so I figured I had plenty of time to test (I'm on CD 16/17). I took a test before bed, and it was definitely super positive. 🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping I didn't miss the baby-making window. We DTD and went to sleep, but the fiance is gone until late tomorrow - meaning this was pretty much our only shot for this month.

Also, if I don't conceive before July, I'll probably be pregnant at my wedding. It's early May 2025... My sister thinks I'll get pregnant and go into labor the day before my wedding and mess it all up. 😅

@TryTheNight I think you have a good shot, if it was positive last night and you dtd last night that is like you best day! You will probably ovulate today. How are you finding the letrozole? I done 4 cycles of it but it didn't work for me(altho I didn't trigger with it) and I'm on my second cycle of Tamoxfin and will trigger on Monday. But Jesus the headaches I'm getting are awful,'iv always suffered with migraines but this is next level 🥴

@Daniki, it has been interesting. Last month (month 1 of using it), I got my first positive ovulation test ever (3-4 years trying). Last month, it wasn't until CD22 but much earlier (and more typical for the general population) CD 16/17 this month.

I didn't notice many side effects last month, but this month has been harder. I have been SO HOT, especially in my face. Luckily, I live where it's cold, so I've been able to sleep with an open window and a thin blanket. I currently have a TERRIBLE headache that has kept me up all night. But mostly it's just been the hot flashes. And possibly some moodiness/emotional stuff (but that might just be me normally 😅).

@Daniki I get migraines, too. And I agree... This is beyond next level. I've gone through 2 ice packs on my head. I don't want to take any medication for pain in case it affects ovulation/implantation. I feel nearly as horrible as when this started over 5 hours ago.

@TryTheNight yes iv been having all the same things! Waking up with night sweats too, horrible!! That's good you finally ovulated, they say 3 cycles usually works so hopefully this is your month?🤞🏻 iv been taking panadol but it does feck all, but I had to take my migraine tablet on Friday and again on Sunday it was that bad I was vomiting. The things we go through!!! But thankfully over the worst of it not, really hoping I get pregnant this month so I don't have to take the tablets again 😂
Did they mention to you they will do monitored cycles if no luck just on letrozole?

I tested this morning as planned, used a boots early and a standard non-early cheap test. I thought I could see a line on the boots test, and looked at it for ages but wasn’t convinced, and when I came back to the cheap test which I didn’t think would show anything if the line was so faint on the boots - it has quite an obvious line! It is faint but definitely there. I’ll test again in 48 hours

@Daniki, my fingers are crossed for you. 🤞 I get the migraines where I throw up every 2-3 years, and they are the worst, indescribable pain. I've even been to the ER from them. So anything that means you DON'T have to deal with that anymore, I'm cheering for that for you.

As far as monitoring, my doctor is having me schedule a 21-day progesterone test each month that I take the letrozole to see if it's working. Last month, I didn't ovulate until after the blood test (so that was kind of pointless), but this month, it should show. I have my blood test on Monday for that. Apparently, she wants my number to be 10+ (normally, you want it in the 15-20 range). Before the letrozole, my number was 0.4 🙃 which I why she had me try this route now.

@CoolSummer89, thank you! We only did it the once... I wish we would have given it a few tries leading up to the day. Maybe it will still turn out ok. 🤞

@TryTheNight hopefully you have a good result now on Monday 🤞🏻 were you not ovulating at all? The body is mental anyway, so much we don't know about it still!

Aw they're the worst migraines, so debilitating and definitely hormone led! I'm on CD 8 and AF finally seems to be going away thank god so will be entering shag week shortly 😂

Due af in two days and weirdly I’ve got no symptoms this month, last two months I’ve been tracking symptoms as it’s when we’ve started trying and I’ve had sore boobs, back pain cramps and spotting, this month nothing so far so kinda hoping it’s a good sign …. Will try not be too disappointed if af does show at the weekend..
