Was waiting in for a gas engineer today who DID NOT SHOW. Honestly. My life is just waiting, waiting, waiting at the moment.

@elsa15 I'm a jan baby and I've always loved it! Was always a chance to mop up on Xmas presents 😂 plus lovely to have something to look forward in the new year.

@RW269 my last cycle was like that, 5 days late and such an agonising wait when you just want to reset the clock to CD1 again 😩 fingers crossed it's either here soon or because of late ovulation and something brewing!!

@Daniki my LO was conceived while I was on holiday. There was alot of drinking and hot tubs involved 😬 but I was most definitely relaxed and have a happy healthy 16 month old on the other side!!

Oh and @CoolSummer89 absolute classic!! Waiting for all the big things to happend not least the gas engineer!!

@SummerSun24 thanks I was hoping for the same result 😂 we decided to try for our second when we were abroad for my friends wedding and I got pregnant that month! Was totally relaxed and not in the midst of tracking ovulation etc 😂 I'm starting back to acupuncture on Monday aswell so 🤞🏻

@SummerSun24 it’s like the tww nerves x10 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 still nothing showed up. Going to start testing daily now I think starting tomorrow in hope! Luckily I’m working tomorrow and Friday so that’ll keep me more occupied todays been my day off and I have done nothing except sit and stew thinking about it and having a minor breakdown every time I go to pee incase I’ve came on 😂😂😂

Hi all, just joining for all the 2ww fun 🙄I think I'm around 9dpo and symptom spotting like a champ. I appreciate not feeling alone with my craziness.

For those of you who are testing negative and are already late, with my 2nd I was convinced I was pregnant and had pregnancy symptoms in line with when my app predicted I should have ovulated, but was still testing negative a week late. I figured it must just be in my head, but then at maybe 10 days late and no period still, I tested again and it was finally positive.

Just have to book monthly holidays at this rate @Daniki !

Oh god bless you @RW269 it's horrible isn't it! Things are a bit meh, need to start tracking ovulation as my app predictions aren't the best I don't think with slightly irregular cycles! Also not 100% on where I was with CM this month as sorry if tmi but erm 'left overs' from doing the deed are quite similar? So hard to tell what's what! So shag week is more like fornication fortnight which is a bit tiring really 😂 so if no success this month I'm gonna try the opks I think and hope I don't get too bogged down in them. According to app I am 8dpo at most I think. Waiting untill next Friday to test thought to be sure.

@SummerSun24 oh definitely, the tracking is a game changer, I definitely think mines a full week later than my apps predict! Hahaha it all blends into one doesn’t it CM / after sex 😂
it’s just so tiring having a solid 2 weeks ! Constantly on the hunt for energy hahaha I hope next Friday rolls round asap for you with some good news!

@RW269 Nothing planned at all, so I'll just be refreshing here to see what everyone else is up to. I've still got one test left from last month, which I will likely use tomorrow or Friday even though it says use from day of missed period, and I found a test at the back of a drawer that I think expired in 2022 that I might try just for giggles, though even if it is positive I'd still buy another one just to be certain.

@peanutmm hahaha I love that, I always use the line to my partner “I know it’s far too early so I’m not to be disappointed but I’m going to go pee on a strip so I feel I’ve been productive” 😂
ahh least there’s a fair few of us in the wait stage hopefully the chat on here will help us all get through it!

Hi, joining from the previous thread, around 3dpo based on ovulation symptoms, will start testing from the 18th

Only just realised there was a new thread! I thought the last one had gone very quiet lol.

5dpo today. Hope to start testing on Tuesday (9dpo) as that’s when I got a BFP with my last pregnancy. Not feeling too hopeful though as only managed to DTD once around ovulation this month, but fingers crossed!

@RW269 and just like that I seem to be out, started bleeding last night.

I've had 3 confirmed pregnancies and they all had the same symptoms that were unique to pregnancy for me. When we started trying again, I had the exact same symptoms the first month, but started bleeding a few days before my missed period so hadn't tested yet. Had the same symptoms now so was getting excited, but looks like it's another false alarm. But because I have started bleeding before my period is due, I don't know if I should count it as a chemical pregnancy or not. They just don't seem to be sticking this time around.

@peanutmm oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that :( sending you lots of hugs, I really hope you get a sticky one soon, it’s so hard isn’t it when it’s such a guessing game of what’s happening

My two different apps are telling me different ovulation dates 😂 irregular cycles (28-46 days) so I'm not surprised with the long cycle. Would you go from the first day you had a peak or the second?

@babydust23 I would take cd33 as peak and you should definitely lower the amount of tests you do to 2 per day

Well I finally got my period… A WHOLE WEEK LATE.

@emmatcc1 sorry to hear that :( same CD1 today it’s just arrived with a vengence. what a time! Bit rude of it being late and giving us more hope :( sending you love !

@RW269 On the bright side so far I’m not having any cramps. I’m hoping my next cycle will be more regular like they used to be. Next possible due date will be in 2025, it’s so weird thinking we could have a child in that year. I feel so old.

Now I am confused. Had what I thought was my peak on the 6th. Then yesterday and today loads of EWCM so did another easy@home OPK to be sure, and it’s positive. Highest reading I have ever had and a higher number than what I thought was my peak last week…. So possibly body tried to ovulate last week but didn’t and now this is it?

Jesus as at school they made it sound like getting pregnant was so easy…

@MaybeBaby2024 are your periods usually all over the place or do you normally ovulate at the same time? Maybe this is your true peak now? It's all very confusing tbh! And yes, nothing makes me angrier than what we were taught in school, only had to look at a man to get pregnant! If only it was that easy 😂

Aww that's a shame @emmatcc1 and @RW269 , sorry to hear of AF arriving! I've started to feel a bit crampy so I feel like this month it's going to be an early AF 😩

@SummerSun24 How many dpo are you? Do you usually get cramps before af? Not to get your hopes up but my first symptom was cramping probably from implantation, also made me think I’m gonna get af early.
