Normal early pregnancy bleeding or Miscarriage

So I've had 1 miscarriage already and started bleeding this afternoon I'm only about 5 weeks so very very early
Wondering the difference between miscarriage and normal early pregnancy bleeding?
It's bright red but doesn't seem to be getting heavier and I don't have cramps
Both of which happened the first time round

Any opinion or reassurance or reality on the situation welcome, at this point I'm convinced I'm having a miscarriage and I'm a bit heartbroken

I had bleeding at 6 weeks and 16 weeks ... found out at 16 weeks it was cervical ectropion (I think!). There wasn't lots of blood but enough to last a few wipes and with small clots in. It was bright red too.
I was frantically searching forums for good news so I hope more people come with positive stories!

I wouldn't say there's a lot but equally it's not spotting, there's some when I wipe, and I put a pad on tbf 4 hours ish ago now and there's some dots on that but nothing major.

I'm sure the reality is this is a miscarriage but maybe I'm trying to delude myself with this post, I'm just so hoping it's not what i think it is

My bleeding was the same - more than spotting but not heavy bleeding. I am sending positive vibes your way and hope it's similar to what I had!
