Since Tuesday I have done 4 tests and 3 out of 4 have been positive. The latest, the negative one, was today. The third positive was this morning and the first two positives were on Tuesday.

I only did the 2 today because I had 2 faint results on Tuesday. TBH I really did not believe I was pregnant (various reasons relating to PCOS) and DH got me the tests today to shut me up.

I did the 1st test today and it looked negative but then a faint result appeared after about 5 minutes. It is a clear blue test. I did another (again, I don't know why) and it is negative.

If I am pregnant I have no idea how many days/weeks I am. BUgger. Was so happy.

Hi llareggub, if uve still got a +ve today surely theres still a good chance your pg? Did you do the +ve on in the morning,i.e is there an explainable reason? Can you see a doc for a blood test?

Hi, I did the first positive test at around 10am. Initially it did look negative but it developed into a positive. The light in my bathroom is very bad so it might have been positive from the start. I did the 2nd test at around 12.30pm. It is negative.

I've just read on the net that ideally urine should have been held for 4 hours for a good result. As I said, if I am pregnant I have no idea how pregnant I am so realistically could be less than 14 DPO. I expected a stronger result today though, not a weaker one.

All v odd. DH has been sent out for more tests and I've asked him to find a digital one.

Congratulations you are pregnant! You can get a false negative if it's very early on but you CAN'T get a false positive. It doesn't matter how faint the line is, it still means you are pregnant. The doctor was very clear about this when I asked him to do a test because I didn't believe the 5 I had done at home (3 faint positive, 2 negative)

I'm in the same situation. Had a very faint positive today but it's weaker than it was a few days ago. have also had a bleed around the time af was due. Still have pg symptoms though. Very confused.

Really? Honestly? I can't believe it because it was so difficult to get pregnant with my first son. Had all sorts of treatment. Am clinging to the faint positives but more believing of the negative IYSWIM.

I think we'll just have to wait and see. I'm going to the doc on Monday because, if I'm not pg, my hormones are all over the place.
Get yourself checked out too. Hope it all works out

Fingers crossed for both of us.
