Am on CD16 now, OPKing twice a day and nothing.

Last 2 cycles I Ov'd around CD14 and got my + OPKs on CD11/12

and nothing upto now.

A couple of times Ive had a clear line but nothing close to the control line so I thought I was getting a surge but the next ones been compleetely faint.

Am fed up

It is possible - it's called an anovulatory cycle. It doesn't mean you have a problem though, some months it just happens like that. You could also have just missed the surge. if you are drinking a lot of fluids for example then you may not detect ovulation.

If you have ovulated in previous months then I wouldn't worry too much.

just remember that just because you get a LH surge does not mean that an egg was actually released. a dy21 progesterone test would have to be done or a scan.

just one more thing to worry about !

I am going to have to go back for my day 21 test as I didn't get a period within a week of having it done... it was a week late!

Hopefully they will do it at the right time this time.

The only way you can really confirm ovulation is by temping and looking for the temperature shift. I reckon OPKs are quite expensive and not too helpful! Are you checking your cervical mucus? That can really help in warning you that O is about to happen. Once you have O'd, your CM should dry up pretty quickly.
