Hi what’s everyone opinion/ advice on the following?
how soon after sex can I test positive?
can you ovulate 5 days befor your expected period?

You ovulate 14 days before your expected period.

Thanks! But with every cycle been different and I’m not sure how mine is. Would it ever be possible to ovulate days befor you next period?

No you can't ovulate a few days before your period. As PP said most women ovulate 10-15 days before their period. Some women have slightly shorter luteal phases but this normally means they struggle to get pregnant.
If you ovulated 5 days before your period your period would start before the embryo implants meaning you could not get pregnant.

And the earliest you could test for pregnancy and get a possible positive result would be 8 days after sex. But thats assuming you ovulated that day/ next day and implanted quick and had enough hormone to test positive early. But to get a reliable result it would be 12-14 days after ovulation. Which could be 12-17 days after sex (sperm can survive a few days before ovulation)
