Pregnacare conception

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from my Boots breastfeeding vitamins (had loads left after DD), to Pregnacare Conception. The first cycle I used them, I ovulated a couple of days earlier, which I didn't mind, but my period has also been more uncomfortable for longer (cramps on day 3??) and I've suffered from horrible indigestion too.

I did have a D&C in late December for a blighted ovum, so the weirdness could be due to that, and I'm 41 now, so there's that too. But something is telling me it's the Pregnacare. I've stopped them now. I didn't have any problems with Pregnacare Plus though, so I'm surprised.

Anyone else have issues with them?

I've been on them for about 8 months alongside CoQ10 and I've had no issues. I actually think they sorted out my periods as they were very erratic after my MMC last year. It could just be your body adjusting? X

I tried Pregnacare and it messed up my cycles so I stopped. I just took folic acid and Vit D on their own. It’s better to get nutrients in your diet if you can.
