Can anyone help me understand BBT please?!

Hey there -
would anyone be able to have a look at my chart and decipher please?! I thought the rise at ovulation was good and then it continued to rise for 3 straight days however now it’s dropped the last two (4 & 5 dpo) with 5dpo even being below the baseline? Any thoughts would be great please!

It could be an implantation dip, but it is quite early although not impossible. I had a dip on days 6 and 7, although not below the coverline. It then rose again to the the same level as the highest it had been and stayed up. I also had a tiny bit of implantation bleeding on days 7 and 8. Nothing on day 9 and a BFP on day 10.

Thank you for the response I appreciate it! I do wonder if I’m more 6dpo as I did have some cramping around then. I’ve got some left side cramping and lower left back ache so here’s hoping 🤞this was the first month in about 5/6 cycles that I’ve had a super dark OPK so hopefully that’s positive!

Come back and let us know how you get on! I loved BBT! The cycle I fell pregnant, I had a LH surge, ovulation cramps etc, but my BBT didn't rise to confirm ovulation. Two days later, I had egg white mucus and the cramps again, then my BBT went up the following day. I must have failed to ovulate so my body tried again. I would never have realised had I not been doing BBT!

That's great, I tend to do a digital test and then stop and consider myself pregnant unless my period shows up - I know a lot of people like to test everyday but I think it's easy to drive yourself crazy!

Agree, it’s so easy to spiral. This hasn’t stopped me doing multiple cheap ones a day to see if there’s any progression though! I done a digital this morning which confirmed pregnancy and I’ve just got some week indicators as I’d like to see those progress and then I will hopefully relax 🤞🤞🤞
