'Feeling' pregnant

I had a missed miscarriage two months ago, so my cycle is still not to be trusted. My period is three days late and I feel nauseous, and as I'm travelling today I can't take a pregnancy test until the evening.

The main thing is I don't 'feel' pregnant. With my last pregnancy, even before the test, I just sensed that I was pregnant (not to mention having really sore boobs, which I don't have now) - I really felt a 'connection' to the embryo.

Has anyone felt this before? Or have you not felt pregnant before and been pregnant? My worry is a technical pregnancy but something going wrong. I had an ectopic two years ago and since my MMC I'm worried about other miscarriages too like blighted ovum.

Just in case anyone can reply- I've taken a test and it's positive. I'm worried it'll be a bad outcome as my boobs do not hurt at all, I don't 'feel' pregnant. Has anyone felt similarly and everything turned out OK?

sorry to hear of your losses and congrats on your positive test.
I had no symptoms until around 6 weeks with my last pregnancy, which resulted in a healthy baby.
for my pregnancy before that I had lots of symptoms but I ended up having a MMC.
so every pregnancy is different. I know it’s hard but try not to overthink it!

Congratulations! I never had sore boobs my whole pregnancy with my son, or nausea

Thank you. I feel some twinging on the side my remaining fallopian tube is on so going to try and get referred to the EPU as soon as possible so I can hopefully stop being anxious and start feeling hopeful!

I had no symptoms til at least 6 weeks with my first babe who is now 6. But with my two chemicals I felt really pregnant even before a faint line appeared and especially with the first. I felt super connected to them and even had leaky boobs.

Now I've just had the faintest of lines come up on a test and don't feel pregnant at all so I'm hoping it's a good sign 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fingers crossed that everything is good with your little bean xxx

I’m 14 weeks and I don’t feel pregnant …. I find the expectation to feel connected to the embryo quite odd!

I know what you mean @Rosesanddaisies1 , I feel weird even saying it! It was just what I had experienced with my last pregnancy. I'll try not to worry too much about not feeling that!
