This is our 5th month TTC and tracking my cycles. I have noticed every month that I cramp about a week before my period is due. I feel a heaviness in my uterus and will have subtle cramps which build in strength over several days. The cramping will stop before my period which isn’t painful. For the first few cycles I would hope that these were implantation pains but they obviously were not.

Im now 10 DPO and haven’t had any of these usual pains or heaviness. I’m so aware of them so am sure that I haven’t missed them. I had some breast sensitivity around 7 dpo but they’re no more sore than usual or even less so. I temp and did ovulation strips so I’m sure that I ovulated.

Has anyone experienced similar before their BFP? X

Hi lovely,
You can drive yourself mad with trying to symptom spot but the short answer is it's different for everyone.
I also cramp around the time of ovulation then the week when I'm due on. I never noticed before or it didn't happen before but now I'm then to conceive again I'm very much aware.
When I've been pregnant before I never had any symptoms - no temp, no cm, no tenderness etc (apart from the first time where on the week I took a test I'd had a massive wave of nausea) all nausea came to me once I'd had a positive test about 3/4 days before my period was due.
It's exhausting trying TTC I hope it happens for you soon x

If you miss a period, take a pregnancy test.

OP did you test again?

I guess by now you know whether you were pregnant or not! But yes, this was the case for me. I had a complete lack of period symptoms which is how I suspected I was pregnant, and I was right (baby now 11 months!).
