Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice. I got a positive pregnancy test (alot of them) and would be around 6 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately I started bleeding ( v light, some clots but didn't fill a pad) on Wednesday night and was sent to A&E yesterday by my GP. Had an examination and was told my cervix was closed which is good, then some bloods which came back as my HGC levels at 2! All seemed very odd given i have done a pregnancy test that morning that was clearly positive.
The doctor in A&E told me I was having a miscarriage and because it was early didn't need any further treatment.
I have stopped bleeding today, no pain and tested positive this morning again on a home pregnancy test. Surely with levels of 2 it was a stark negative- I've taken digital so no line eyes! What should I do? Should I call them and ask if they were definitely my bloods? I'm so confused and heartbroken all at the same time.

Ideally you need a scan so they can see what’s going on. Have you contacted your EPU?

OP the same thing happened to me a couple of years ago and sorry to say it was an early miscarriage. For me I got a positive and then it didn't get any darker over the course of the week before I started bleeding. Hope you are doing ok ❤️

I've just had a mmc, unfortunately my hcg didn't do what was predicted. I pray it's not a miscarriage for you but hcg levels not going up us a red flag. I pray it works out for you 🙏
