Previous ectopic, ovulation stimulating medications

Hello,
I wondered if anyone who has had a previous ectopic pregnancy has then gone on to need ovulation stimulating medication? Am I right in thinking taking clomid etc increases the risk of another ectopic? Has anyone successfully taken this risk ?

Hey OP 👋🏼 Didn't want to read and run but I can't help you on the medication front I'm afraid 🙏🏼 I had a ruptured ectopic at the beginning of this year, had my right tube removed... I've had 3 periods since, the first was a bit all over the place and my OPK never reached 'peak' but my last 2 cycles have been 28 days, and have had positive OPK's on both of them, so it seems my cycles have gone back to normal 🙏🏼

How long ago was your ectopic? Could it be your body needs more time?

Hi @SunshineAndRainbows6 thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear you've been through this shit too. Sadly mine was nearly 4 years ago, so more then just a case of cycles getting back to normal. I wish you well on your journey.
