Strong early symptoms

I confirmed I was pregnant yesterday, strong positive test a week before my period is due (tested because I felt weird).
I'm already having a lot of symptoms- nausea, bloating, tiredness, painful breasts etc.

Does this mean I ovulated earlier than expected or I’ve read twins can cause extreme symptoms? Or am I just imagining it all…

Basically looking for experience and reassurance. It’s a shock! (My first etc).

I found out I was pregnant five days my period was due because my boobs were enormous and very sore and I felt quite sick and tired for no good reason....
12/40 with twins 🙈

Congratulations to both of you, that’s so exciting! @Notanother0nee were you tracking ovulation at all? Could mean you are later than you thought, but yes as @DigbysMum23 says, more extreme symptoms with twins!

I’m currently just 3DPO, was sick during the night and still feel nauseated! Assuming it’s something unrelated as at this stage any embryo wouldn’t have even implanted! But doesn’t stop me wondering if a conception-related hormone surge is causing the nausea 🙈

Not tracking and not planned 😳my cycle is generally very regular.

I’m currently at the everything happens for a reason stage.
