Conception question

Hi there, I think I may be pregnant, but if so then I ovulated and conceived quite early this month. (Ovulation tests also showed I was ovulating not that long after my period and sooner than usual for some reason). Hypothetical question at this point as I'm going to wait and see if my period arrives before testing but if it turns out I am pregnant would the due date be brought forward if I ovulated earlier than halfway through my cycle if that makes sense? Thanks

How many days past ovulation are you and what makes you think you are pregnant x

Your initial due date is from the first date of your last period - it doesn't matter when you ovulate. Then at the 12 week scan this gets refined depending on measurements.

Thanks both. I'm about 6/7 days past ovulation I think but recognise some of the signs from previous pregnancies. It's obviously just a guess and I'm pretty relaxed whether I am or not but have had lots of pinching sensations and very very mild nausea occasionally, a little dizziness, tiredness and vivid dreams. Oh and more going to the loo. As I say I know it's early days so I could be jumping the gun a lot. Just slightly nervous about a potential due due because of a family holiday but I will cross that bridge if I need to. Thanks

6-7 dpo is super super early - that's usually the earliest time an embryo would implant and it takes a couple of days after that for symptoms to show up as symptoms come from the rise in HCG (pregnancy hormone). So it's unlikely what you're feeling is a pregnancy symptom, but that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant this month, just don't read into how you're feeling now as it's most likely not related x

Thanks @moosey89. Good advice. x

Have to disagree. Every woman is different at DPO 7 I just knew I was pregnant
I felt sick and light headed.
i did a pregnancy test 7DPO and picked up a faint line

This is interesting, iv seen many comment on previous threads saying they got a line at 7dpo so i might start testing then🤣🤣

I'm not saying she's not pregnant - I'm saying scientifically most women implant from day 6-12 post ovulation. So statistically it's unlikely, not impossible, that she has symptoms caused by HCG.
