Confused with FF app

My FF app has confused me, it’s saying I ovulated on cd14 however I didn’t get a positive OPK until the morning of CD15 and I usually ovulate the evening I get the positive. How could I of ovulated the day before positive ovulation test? Thanks in advance x

@Tryingtoconvince Hmm I'd say it's probably basing that on your BBT dip on CD14 and because your temp rose up to above the line the next day. Possibly because of the EWCM too.

Weird that it's before your +OPK though - I don't think I've ever seen FF do that! Maybe it's waiting for a few more high temps and it'll change the line to a solid line on another day.

If I had to guess I'd say ovulation day was maybe CD16, by looking at the jump afterwards, and since it's the day after the +OPK. I'd bet FF moves it there once you've had a few more high temps!

Either way I think you're covered by when it looks like you BDed 😊

It’s unusual but it’s only as good as the information you give it.

It probably would have chosen CD16 if you hadn’t taken CD17 at a different time and then skipped a day. You might find that it’ll recalculate when you have a few more temps in but you really need to be as accurate as you can.

@purplecolouroffunk @Awaywiththeferries123 thanks for your responses. Now that I have put todays temp in it’s changed the ovulation date to CD16 😊 wishing we dtd on cd16 now too!! :(

Don’t worry, it’s more important to have sperm waiting for the egg which you will have had. Good luck!
