Hi!!
This morning I woke up several times on and off because my partner was snoring. It was over an hour of tossing and turning and probably more time spent awake than not. I was also shoving him a bit so was moving around 😂
I eventually grabbed my thermometer at about 7.45am. Temp was 36.67.
Then I fell back into a really deep undisturbed sleep. I woke up an hour later at 8.45am. I thought I’d temp again mainly out of interest, fully expecting it to be higher and to just use the first temp, but it was 36.49!
Question is - should I record the lower temp cause that’s more reflective of BBT? It’s also closer to my usual time. I would usually always record the first temp but as the second is lower, it feels more accurate?
I’ve never done a second temp (sometimes I’ll do it out of interest, but always record first temp) and had it be lower than the first!
I usually record my temp as close to 8.30am as possible (don’t judge, I work from home 😂).
I usually wouldn’t be so bothered about one temp, but it feels like a pivotal time as want to work out if I’m having another estrogen surge or not. Or implantation dip but I know the existence of that is controversial and is usually just caused by estrogen.
Chart shows lower temp recorded.
Thank you!! 💜
