⭐️TTC & SURGERY MENTIONS⭐️

Hi you lovely lot! I’m just after some advice and maybe some past experiences.

My daughter is coming up to 20mo and me and my partner decided to start trying for baby no2 but everything got thrown out the window when I needed emergency keyhole surgery to remove my appendix. I’m only a week post op so obviously know it’s not safe but when I spoke to two different doctors one said 6 weeks before it’s safe to try and one said 6 months.

Question is, has anyone got pregnant not long after keyhole surgery? Was there any problems?
I had a c-section with my daughter and I have a friend who got pregnant 8 weeks after hers and she was absolutely fine but I’m just in two minds as I’d probably need another c-section if we did go on to have another baby and the thought of two abdominal surgery’s so close together makes me concerned. Surely c-section is worse then keyhole?? We’ve agreed to wait obviously but I have my internal clock screaming at me to hurry up and the different opinions from the doctors have gotten me all worked up so I just would like to hear other peoples stories or advice.

Thank you! 💕
