id like to call it a 2WW but I know il test on CD10 as I’ve got no restraint at all. I can’t believe it’s been a year of ttc already. I use natural cycles and my ovulation wasn’t ‘scheduled’ for another week but woke up this morning and the app has decided I ovulated 4 days ago. I had a suspicion anyway from my temps so managed to BD the day before and the day of ovulation. Anyone else in the early stages of the TWW? (Or ten day in my case)

@UnicornPrincessSarah Ah I wouldn't worry, every pregnancy is totally different. I think i'd worry if mine were too faint or too dark tbh - utterly paranoid. Makes me think it's too dark for this stage and something is going to go wrong. Pregnancy after loss is genuinely horrendous, I'm so incredibly anxious :(

The MomMed strip was FMU and the Boots test was SMU.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 25/03/2024 15:46

@dreammama I do have another I can try tonight but that's maybe 20mui yeah I had a mc loss at 6/7 weeks myself so little nervous was 18 then now this my first BFP since then

YorkshirePeridot · 25/03/2024 16:18

I'm officially out, and signs are pointing to me having a chemical. Best of luck to everyone who is still in x

jellyfish2 · 25/03/2024 16:39

@YorkshirePeridot I'm sorry, can I ask what makes you think it's a chemical? I've been testing negative everyday but today I thought af was here but it was really light. Did a test on frer and faint positive but I've continued to bleed which is pinky red every time I wipe. I'm fully expecting it'll be a chemical but it's strange yesterday I had a negative and yet today with bleeding it's positive.

could be chemical or implantation if you get heavy and clots that would maybe be a chemical and painful x

YorkshirePeridot · 25/03/2024 16:57

@jellyfish2 my period is much later than normal and so far I'm getting mainly brown clots and really bad cramps. Last few cycles I've gone straight into bright red flow and only crampy when it's at its heaviest. Just feels very different to a normal period. I also had symptoms which lined up with implantation at 7/8dpo but then I had absolutely no symptoms, of either pregancy or pms, from about 10dpo onwards.

It may not be a chemical but if it is I'm glad I didn't get a positive test as I've not had a chance to get my hopes up. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you're not having a chemical.

jellyfish2 · 25/03/2024 17:01

@YorkshirePeridot it just shows there's a reason to wait to test doesn't it. I'm just so impatient but now I'm filled with loads of questions and will now have to wait a day or two to know the answers.

jellyfish2 · 25/03/2024 17:02

@UnicornPrincessSarah no clots as yet, will just need to play by ear and see how it goes.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 25/03/2024 17:07

@jellyfish2 fingers crossed for you

@hstanford you're welcome! Forgot to add I also take high strength vitamin B6. I am lucky to have private healthcare through work, so I went to them for local fertility specialists in my area and ended up at one of the private Spire hospitals. Couldn't fault how quick and easy the process has been. I'm now in constant contact with a fertility specialist and endocrinologist so it's helped me feel more looked after. Obviously aware private healthcare comes at a cost but if there's any way of you getting it through work or other means if you don't already have cover then I'd really recommend. Took so much worry out of TTC these last couple of cycles. Xx

Thank you for sharing that’s so helpful! If you do t mind could I ask your age and how long you have been TTC? I have private health care through work and hadn’t even thought about going through these!

Ive ordered a thyroid and female hormone test from Randox health and so will be doing that in the morning on cd3, I’m 29 and on cycle 11 TTC I know there’s still time but I just want to know if there is something that flags as an issue before I have to going the dreaded nhs list! I’ll look into my private health care plan for sue though x

dreammama · 25/03/2024 20:26

@Roseberry22 i have just turned 30, I fell pregnant first try in May 2023 then miscarried at 8 weeks, fell pregnant again first try September 2023 and miscarried at 4/5weeks. I then had a break October - Feb whilst I sorted my thyroid levels out. So only started TTC from Feb this year and fell pregnant cycle 2, March 2024! 😊

If you have private healthcare with work (I have Bupa) just go down that route. It’s so much easier, you just book a telephone consultation with Bupa Touch or whoever your equivalent is, ask for a referral for diagnostic testing for fertility and then you can claim everything via them if you select a Bupa approved practitioner. It was a very quick and easy process for me, saved so much worry than waiting to have another loss / going on a waitlist with NHS. I was seen, tested and diagnosed within 2 weeks and now feeling so much better x

I think anything read after the time specified should be disregarded, therefore you need not worry about it.

Can anyone please confirm if I have actually ovulated this month from BBT? I know it’s missing some information to be completely accurate but have taken my temp at same time every day this cycle, for the first time!
Thank you xx

It certainly looks like it.

How's everyone getting on? The thread's gone quiet.

Ttcafterlosses · 30/03/2024 13:12

Taking some time out whilst on AF before preparing for another cycle

jellyfish2 · 30/03/2024 13:16

We're taking April off from TTC due to the MC and then whatever happened this month whether it was indeed a chemical or not. Just wanting to see how my period is in April, give my body a cycle and then start again in May.

moosey89 · 30/03/2024 13:19

On CD3, we go again! Month 9 since most recent loss. Had a gynae appointment and they've referred me for a hycosy and started the process for the fertility clinic (as it's a 3 month wait for the hycosy and that would put me at the 12 month mark for the Fertility appointment). So at least feels like something is happening! Easier to take than month after month of nothing. Aside from that just trying to eat better and throw myself into my fitness, I need to lose 8-10kg really to be comfortably under the bmi threshold for fertility treatments.

Roseberry22 · 01/04/2024 11:18

CD9 for me will start using OPKs again in a few days, fingers crossed for everyone this month
