id like to call it a 2WW but I know il test on CD10 as I’ve got no restraint at all. I can’t believe it’s been a year of ttc already. I use natural cycles and my ovulation wasn’t ‘scheduled’ for another week but woke up this morning and the app has decided I ovulated 4 days ago. I had a suspicion anyway from my temps so managed to BD the day before and the day of ovulation. Anyone else in the early stages of the TWW? (Or ten day in my case)

BFN for me at 11dpo 😔 I really felt I was having signs but obviously not. I've had positive tests by now with both previous pregnancies (one being the MMC). Hope my period hurries up now so I can just move on to next cycle!

Exact same for me this morning at 12dpo. So gutted 😞

hstanford · 23/03/2024 15:23

Still BFN my end and a drop in BBT, basically counting myself out at this point...

moosey89 · 23/03/2024 15:54

CD25 for me today but no clue when I ovulated as I was away a few days for work, so dtd before I left and when I came back so not holding much hope this month to be honest.

Roseberry22 · 24/03/2024 09:27

@dreammama tentative congratulations there’s definitely a line there with some colour!

I’m waiting for AF as temp had dropped right below the cover line yesterday. Didn’t bother bbt last night as we went out and enjoyed a few drinks instead.

I don’t really have any symptoms of AF arriving but it should arrive tomorrow on que I’m sure.

Ive ordered some Randox health tests to try and see whether this shows any abnormalities as going into month 12 of TTC

hstanford · 24/03/2024 12:39

AF has made her return so that me out for this month. Had a bit of a breakdown last night as this just doesn't seem to be happening for us and everyone around us seems to be getting pregnant on 1st or 2nd try. May have to step away for a month or so....

jellyfish2 · 24/03/2024 12:51

@hstanford I'm sorry. It's hard isn't it. I fully expect mine to be here on Wednesday too and I'm feeling sad after my MC. I now have to put a brave face on and go to a baby shower.

Ah that's so tough! Wishing you all the best luck that you can get through it without having to field off any questions of when you'll have yours. Be kind to yourself today ❤️

dreammama · 24/03/2024 14:09

@hstanford so sorry 😔 fingers crossed for you next cycle. Has your TTC journey been long? Are you taking any supplements to help? I have had 2 early losses and saw a specialist and have been taking very specific supplements if it would be of interest if I shared details?

@jellyfish2 i know all too well having to go celebrate others news when you’re going through hell yourself. My best friend just gave birth to her baby on my first pregnancy’s due date - so painful but so precious as the same time. It’s always bitter sweet. Your time will come ❤️

dreammama · 24/03/2024 15:06

I could really do with some help here… 11/12dpo and tested twice today already 😅 top test was SMU on a standard boots test detects HCG at 25. The bottom test is a boots early detection which detects HCG from 10 and I took that just now.

why would the early detection, more sensitive test show a fainter line than the standard pregnancy test? My BBT dropped this morning too from 37 degrees yesterday to 36.75 today. Do you think I should be concerned of a possible chemical or am I just paranoid after previous losses?

And so it begins again… 4dpo

I honestly think you're just anxious because of previous losses.

Your tests look fine to me! I'd stop testing. You're definitely pregnant, so put the money you save on pregnancy tests into a savings account for the baby.

hstanford · 24/03/2024 15:48

@ddreammama 8 months so far with 1 chemical in October. I'd definitely be interested in which supplements youre taking, right now I'm taking probiotic and the pregnacare pre conception.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 24/03/2024 15:49

Update to you all seems the amazon reviews on these tests are dodgy maybe try as tested again on a 3 hour hold and no drinking and have to squint to see a line now super faint this is now 48 hours from my first hint of a positive so really I would have thought line maybe darker unless start of a chemical I'm not to sure.

Going to wait now as feel like crying if these tests have all been false positives will next test when and if AF is late

Hubby did warn me not to get hopes up and I was trying but after 2 negatives before the faint positive and even testing 1 in water then to have 6 faint positives over 3 days to now 3rd day afternoon nothing when last 2 afternoons there was something really strange

Sending hugs and hoping its not a early loss my FMU was faint after a very dark 11.15pm test SMU was darker then FMU but then now this afternoon so faint need to swuint.

read someone got a whole box of 20 positives in the wondfo and then confirmed with bloods to find out she wasn't even pregnant, my other tests are for 20 muil/ 25 mui and say from missed period so was holding out till was late to us. think I'm going to wait now

jellyfish2 · 24/03/2024 18:42

@dreammama thanks, I'm so happy for my friend as it's been a long journey and IVF but i was supposed to be almost 20 weeks pregnant so it just feels sad.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! The lines look great 😊

Roseberry22 · 25/03/2024 08:55

@hstanford AF arrived for me as well yesterday, sending you big hugs when you’re right in the thick of TTC it can seem like everyone but you are pregnant or getting pregnant but just know you’re not alone and it often does take a full year TTC for lots of people.

@dreammama i would think the 2nd test is lighter just because it’s taken later in the day even with a hold etc it’s still more diluted! Have you got another one of them you could take this morning though for comparison for peace of mind? If so I would and see if it was darker, if it is definitely stop testing as I’m sure they won’t help with worry. Everything crossed for you though. I would be interested in hearing what supplements you’re taking though as it may be of some help to lots on here if you’re happy to share.

Ttcafterlosses · 25/03/2024 13:39

Hi all please can I join. AF arrived for me yesterday - I thought this was the month. Congratulations to those with positives and to those who haven’t I’m sorry. I’m going to take a few days off whilst AF is here and try to prepare myself for another cycle x

dreammama · 25/03/2024 14:28

@Roseberry22 @hstanford so to give you both a bit of context of my history and the reasons I'm taking what I take... 2 x early miscarriages in 2023, became frustrated with NHS fobbing me off so wen't private for some tests. Came back that I had quite a severely under-active thyroid, plus protein C resistant and Factor V Leiden heterozygous (meaning I have one copy of the gene so less severe).

In terms of supplements I was told to take the following:

  • high strength vitamin D daily
  • high strength vitamin C daily (heard this is good for progestrone levels)
  • 600mg CoQ10 daily
  • Zita West Vital DHA (basically an omega 3 complex) daily
  • Folate instead of the synthetic form Folic Acid daily (I use Zita West)
  • NAC (N-acetyl cysteine, lots of studies to support this for RPL) daily
  • Selenium (supports fertility and those suffering from RPL, plus helps if you are protein C resistant) daily

I have also been given progestrone pessaries from BFP, told to take 75mg aspirin daily and also tinzaparin (heparin) injections daily. Not the nicest experience having started these last night but I'll do anything at this stage!!

Pics attached of current line progression, I'm 12/13DPO today and AF would have been due tomorrow. Will do a digital tomorrow or weds to confirm weeks and then just hope for the best xx

@dreammama thank you so much for the breakdown of each thing. It's really helpful! Where did you go for your tests?

The lines are looking so strong! ❤️

@hstanford you're welcome! Forgot to add I also take high strength vitamin B6. I am lucky to have private healthcare through work, so I went to them for local fertility specialists in my area and ended up at one of the private Spire hospitals. Couldn't fault how quick and easy the process has been. I'm now in constant contact with a fertility specialist and endocrinologist so it's helped me feel more looked after. Obviously aware private healthcare comes at a cost but if there's any way of you getting it through work or other means if you don't already have cover then I'd really recommend. Took so much worry out of TTC these last couple of cycles. Xx

dreammama · 25/03/2024 14:45
