Hi everyone I have a large fibroid8cm) for the last three years and waiting on surgery, in February I was taken into hospital on Friday 9th on first day of period and had two blood transfusions because of severe anaemia, during the period of hospitalisation(3 days) I was given noresthesterone which stopped the bleeding, my husband who works abroad came over to visit and we took a small break to recover during that time we had unprotected sex over a period of four days(16th to the 20th) after that I began bleeding on the 20th and bled heavily for around four days.
I haven’t taken anymore noresthesterone since then but have not had a period since, following calculations I should have had it on March 5th or if taking the bleed after then today or yesterday. I had assumed that noresthesterone affects ovulation but on calculating my ovulation date based on periods I realised that it was the exact four days we were having unprotected sex.
Could I possibly be pregnant even after that four days heavy bleeding after ovulation?
I haven’t taken a test yet(being delivered tomorrow at some point) but has anyone experienced anything similar or discovered pregnancy after a heavy bleed post ovulation/conception?
I think part of the reason I wasn’t getting pregnant prior to this was because of low progesterone and iron and just realised the noresthesterone increases progesterone, I also have had excessive watery discharge the last few days that is identical to the last time I was pregnant, anyone retained pregnancy after this type of situation or heavy bleeding?
