Does anyone have experience of getting fertility bloods done through a UK/england GP?

I have previously has tsh, fsh, lh checks done for the cd3 tests.

I’m working up my courage to ask my Gp for:

  • full thyroid panel
  • amh
  • prolactin
  • ferritin
  • b12 and folate
  • c reactive protein
  • vitamin d

I’m sure my gp will be amenable to most of them… but has anyone ever had amh test through their gp before?

Hi OP, I recently had thyroid, LH, FSH and Prolactic (day 3 of cycle) and progesterone (day 21), but not AMH. How long have you been actively trying? As that would influence what they're willing to give you. I guess it depends how old you are as to whether they'd be willing to do AMH? If you're under 35 they might resist.
B12 and folate- do you have any symptoms of low B12? If not, I'm not sure that would result in much to help in terms of fertility.
