Hi all

My partner and I have been trying to conceive for a number of years with no luck, so much so that we put it on hold for a while, but still doing the deed with no protection.

I had my last period of the 31st January, and my typical cycle length has been around 33 days. Ovulation estimated on 18th Feb.

Usually, I have very light red/brown spotting for a week before my period actually arrives, and I've had NOTHING. AF is 3 days late and I'm getting more creamy white/clear discharge each day (so much so that I feel like I keep wetting myself today, even though I'm not). I also usually get sore boobs before my period, but this time, only my nipples are sore. I've also had cramping and a full pressure sensation at the top of the stomach/under ribs.

I've tested over the last couple days and they were BFNs, but according to my Flo app, I could be testing too early and should give it until my period is considered as missed.

Has anyone experienced similar? Am I clinging onto hope unnecessarily?

TIA

This sounds very positive as I got my BFP on Friday which was the day my period was due and had very similar circumstances. I ovulated on 16th Feb and also had no spotting which I usually have for 5 days before my period and I had a lot more discharge. Unfortunately my tests didn't have any progression so looks like a chemical but that's a different story!
Have you tested today?

Congrats on your BFP! Fingers crossed it isn't a chemical

I tested this morning and it was negative, but I'm using just internet cheapies so I don't know if they aren't sensitive enough and I'm waiting for hormone levels to increase or it is in fact negative.

I was pregnant about 6 years ago and I didn't get a positive until 2 weeks after my period was due so I'm hoping for the same, although that one ended not so well

Maybe try a First Response if you can get one OP. They are super sensitive, and what I got my first (faint) positive on!

Yeah I may have to go and grab one later. Is it me or are they hard to find in the shops now?! Everywhere only has clear blue!

Sorry to jump on your thread! Hope you get your BFP! Xxx

just wondering if anyone could give an opinion on this test please?! I’m 8/9DPO and done this test first thing this morning. I was sure I could see a bit of a shadow within the 5 mins but thought if I have to look that hard it’s not there! I done the usual and returned to the bin to find this?! I feel like it may well be an evap line but it looks like it has a hint of colour 😩

Could it be?

Looks like evap to me

Tested again with a cheapie and still negative. No sign of AF but I'm getting weird cramps that disappear pretty quick.

I just want to know either way it is driving me nuts. I've ordered some more sensitive tests that should arrive today
