IUD removed now I'm late?

Hiya. We wanted to start trying for baby 2 in March so I had my IUD removed last month. Well, now I'm 3 days late. Does anyone remember being naturally late after having an IUD removed? I keep putting off buying a pregnancy test because it seems so unlikely (we used condoms).

I had my iud out in December and since then my cycles lengths have been anywhere between 32-38 days! Not ideal when tracking and TTC 😅

Have you got any ovulation tracking?

They do day if you're ovulating at around the time of removal and you have DTD that there is a chance of conception that month though?

Also had a friend who conceived working 4 weeks of removal 🤞🏻

It can take a while for your system to get back to normal after the hormonal changes...or you might be pregnant so never know. you'll have to take a test to know

Thanks for your replies. I got so nervous about it (4 days late now) so I walked out on my lunch break to get tests. Tested in work toilet and it was negative!

Must just be cycle readjusting :/ not sure how to feel as of course if it had been that we conceived a little ahead of schedule it would have been a blessing but at the same time, conceiving after Feb was our ideal and our plan (to avoid same birth month as dd1) so also a little relieved!

@Fawklight thanks, that's reassuring to know others have had off periods too after removal. Still waiting but only 4 days late and negative pregnancy test. Was beginning to feel a bit guilty for sips of alcohol I've had an excess cups of coffee!!!
