Ovulation LH surge help!

Hi there, I’m currently trying to conceive and this is the first month trying! I have been tracking LH via ovulation strips and thought I got my LH peak on CD13… I’m now CD16 (2dpo) however, I tested again this morning and my LH levels have went up again? Is this normal? My cycles are 28/29 days and so the Premom app assumed I ovulate on CD13 anyway. Any advice would be great, probably worrying about nothing! :)

Hi,

I’m in the same boat, trying to conceive for our first. I noticed that my LH levels jumped a little too within a month or two of coming off the pill but is now like clockwork now that I’m completely off of it. Hope it all goes well for you!

Can I ask what app you used in the screen shots? x

Hi! Thank you for replying - aww that’s amazing, good luck as well. It’s all a bit of a learning curve isn’t it? I used the Premom app - it has a paid version but I just use the free version of it :) it’s very good, can track ovulation days and your symptoms etc. I was also on the pill for years and it took a little while to adjust to a normal cycle again!

I’ve checked my LH again and it’s a bit lower than the last read, so I’m thinking I definitely ovulated a couple of days ago. Only time will tell!

Your testing times look very random and it completely depends on urine concentration and when you last peed. I think it is just on the way down.

@Ella31 yes I didn’t realise I needed to test at the same times each day, stupidly! I tested again and it’s slightly lower so hopefully it worked the peak out right. :) thank you!

Don't be sorry, it takes time to figure this stuff out. Feel free to message if you need advise.
